Three employees from the Plastics Engineering Department participated in a three-day SIGMASOFT training course on injection molding simulation.

The training focused on the virtual modeling and evaluation of injection molding processes, ranging from filling simulation through temperature control and holding pressure to shrinkage and residual stress. Using practical examples, the training demonstrated ways to specifically analyze and optimize components, molds, and process parameters even before actual prototyping.
