Young Scientists Conference - Renewable Energy, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology

German-Russian cooperation in the fields of natural scientific science is one of the major topics within the scientific relations of both countries.
Since 2005 special bilateral networks for the subject areas of Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Environmental Technology were created to initiate and enforce further cooperation between companies and scientific institutions in both countries and furthermore to provide a systematic and sustainable basis for cooperation their traditional fields.
By the dynamic shifts in the international scientific community within the last few years the demand on support of Young Academics grew extremely. To face these needs our networks established the measures of special conferences for young scientists in their activities.

For May 2014 (19. – 23.) Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) and East-West-Science Centre (OWWZ) organise a Young Scientists Conference (YSC) in Tomsk on the basis of a cross-linked environmental concept involving the fields of Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and Renewable Energy.

For Young Scientists who are interested to participate or to give a talk in the YSC official registration will be provided at the Registrationside of Tomsk Polytechnic University.

Participation in the conference is free of charge.
For the compensation of travel- and accommodation costs of German participants the organizers will apply for funding at DAAD.
