Filmed in France, Italy, Tunisia and Morocco, Sh'hili attempts to address various dimensions of Climate Change from a political position committed to climate justice, the protection of the most vulnerable populations, the protection of life and resistance to all forms of colonial and neo-colonial domination and policies. Sh'hili is intended as a modest contribution to collective resistance to Climate Change and its ecological, social and political consequences.
After the film screening there will be snacks and we have the opportunity to talk about the film with the film director Habib Ayeb who is coming to Witzenhausen. The film discussion will take place in english.

Ihr seid herzlich eingeladen zu dieser Filmvorführung im Capitolkino mit anschließender Filmdiskussion!
Der in Frankreich, Italien, Tunesien und Marokko gedrehte Film Sh'hili versucht, die verschiedenen Dimensionen des Klimawandels aus einer politischen Position heraus anzusprechen, die sich für Klimagerechtigkeit, den Schutz der am meisten gefährdeten Bevölkerungsgruppen, den Schutz des Lebens und dem Widerstand gegen alle Formen kolonialer und neokolonialer Herrschaft und Politik einsetzt. Sh'hili ist als bescheidener Beitrag zum kollektiven Widerstand gegen den Klimawandel und seine ökologischen, sozialen und politischen Folgen gedacht.
Nach der Filmvorführung gibt die Möglichkeit mit dem Regisseur Habib Ayeb, der nach Witzenhausen kommt, über den Film zu sprechen, für Snacks wird gesorgt. Das Filmgespräch findet auf englisch statt, Übersetzung einzelner Fragen ins Englische sind möglich, sollte es Bedarf geben.
