Research Assistent (EG 13 TV-H) - Fachgebiet Internationale Agrarpolitik und Umweltgovernance

Part-time, 50% of regular working hours of a full employment position; temporary employment for 6 months (§ 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG).

Tasks:

Services in research and teaching (2 German SWS) in the area of International Agricultural Policy and Environmental Governance, especially applying for third party funding in the area of Climate Change adaptation in the agricultural sector in Ethiopia from an institutional economics perspective together with Ethiopian partners or in the area of waste water reuse in agriculture in Tunisia together with Tunisian partners.

Requirements:

Concluded studies at Master level in the area of agricultural sciences, economics (good knowledge of agricultural, environmental and resource economics), PhD / doctorate in a relevant field, good knowledge of the agricultural sector and rural development in Ethiopia or of waste water reuse in the agricultural production in Tunisia, institutional analysis, social-ecological systems research. Teaching experience, fluent in English, fluent in Amharic or French and Arabic, experiences in acquisition of third party funding.
