Candidates for this position must have exhibited an outstanding and internationally recognized artistic practice in the field of sound, with an experimental and conceptual approach.
He or she must have to reflect on sound in its aesthetic, technological, theoretical, and political dimensions in both teaching and research.
From the Candidates is an understanding of sound expected that is capable of defining it in its unique potential.
Sound in visual communication at the Kunsthochschule must resolve the differences between the visual and the auditory in a way to productively utilize the resulting synergies, as well as the contradictions.
The position will also require collaborating with other departments at the Kunsthochschule by interacting with artistic-creative development plans. Applicants must demonstrate their qualifications for teaching and hold appropriate teaching experience.
Involvement in the university self-government forms is part of the official work.
