2 Research Assistant (m/w/d), EG 13 TV-H fixed-term - Faculty of Economics and Management

This is a fixed term-position ending May 31st, 2022 as it is part of the research project “KuPraMex” (§ 2 (2) WissZeitVG). It includes the opportunity to work on a PhD project or scientific qualification after the PhD.

Tasks:

• Services in research within the project KuPraMex (working cultures in non-academical labour in Jalisco and Hidalgo, Mexico)

Requirements:

• Completed course of academic study (Master degree) or PhD within the field of management or educational sciences or vocational education
• Good knowledge of Mexican educational system and labour markets
• Substantial knowledge of methodology in qualitative organisational, educational and labour market research
• Very good knowledge of Mexican Spanish required, in addition to proficiency in English

Beneficial for this position:

• Practical experience in qualitative research in Mexico
• Research skills including interview techniques
• Experience in academic publishing
