Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of animal physiology/neuroethology

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee for an indefinite period. An increase in working hours will be sought.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of animal physiology/neuroethology
• Collaboration in the "clocks" research training group
• Teaching in the field of nanostructure sciences
• Supporting the biology working groups with work in mass spectrometry
• Independent work on a research sub-area in animal physiology/neuroethology

Prerequisites:

• University degree in biology with a focus on zoology/animal physiology completed with very good to good results
• Doctorate in the field of natural sciences completed with very good results
• Specialized knowledge in MALDI-TOF
• Expertise in insect brains
• Expertise in neuropeptide analysis

Advantageous are

• Habilitation in zoology
• Relevant experience in analytical chemistry, with different mass spectroscopic methods
