The position is part of the DFG Research Training Group 2050 "Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users" and is limited to 18 months (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). An extension for a further 18 months will be sought (subject to project extension by the DFG).

The task is the independent scientific collaboration in the subproject B1 "Trust and Trust Assessment in Social Networks", combined with a project-related doctorate. In addition to involvement in an interdisciplinary research training group, the position holder will have the opportunity to pursue a doctorate in the dynamic environment of the Department of Sociological Theory and the Scientific Center for Information Technology Design (ITeG) at the University of Kassel.
