Teacher as pedagogical assistant (up to A 13 HBesG) - in the Department of Human Sciences - School Pedagogy with a focus on upper secondary schools

Part-time position with 25% of the regular working hours of a full-time employee, temporary as part of a secondment/partial secondment to work on the ^Pronet2 sub-project: "Reflective competence development in cross-phase teacher training with ePortfolio".

Job profile:

• Collaboration in the conceptual development, testing and evaluation of a cross-phase learning environment as part of the sub-project "Reflective competence development in cross-phase teacher training with ePortfolio".
• Implementation and evaluation of the use of ePortfolio in the second phase of teacher training in collaboration with a teacher training college
• Work with student teachers, trainee teachers, university lecturers and trainers at the Hessian Teachers' Academy
• Collaboration in scientific public relations work and publication activities

Requirements profile:

• Completed teacher training course at a special school with a specialization in language and learning disability education and second state examination, at least three years of school experience after the second state examination
• Teaching experience at primary and lower secondary level
• sound experience and knowledge of working with teachers in the preparatory service, participation in the second phase of teacher training and in teacher training courses
• sound experience and knowledge in the field of media education and Gestalt pedagogy as well as the use of ePortfolio in teacher training
• an independent, responsible way of working.

The secondment/partial secondment as a pedagogical employee from the school service will take place outside the vacancy contingents managed by the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs for the period initially from 01.02.2019 to 31.01.2020.

In accordance with the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Staff at Universities in the State of Hesse (Teaching Obligation Ordinance), the standard teaching obligation is 4.5 teaching hours for almost exclusively teaching activities and 3.5 teaching hours for predominantly teaching activities.
