Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Political System of the Federal Republic of Germany - Statehood in Transition

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

We are looking for a social scientist with a focus on political science.

Tasks:

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of Political System of the FRG - Statehood in Transition
• Services for internal and external activities of the department, research and teaching
• In particular, support for activities in the research areas of the department
• Collaboration in the development and application of third-party funded projects
• Independent work on a doctoral project in one of the subject areas of the department

Prerequisites:

• Excellent academic university degree (Diplom, Magister, Master's, state examination) in political science or social sciences with a focus on political science. The required degree must be available by the recruitment date at the latest.
• Doctoral project in the area of specialization of the subject area

Advantageous are:

• Experience in scientific project work and teaching
