Right-wing extremist politics in transition between parties and social movements. International perspectives

In memory of the racist murder of Halit Yozgat, which was committed by the right-wing extremist NSU not far from the Holländischer Platz campus in 2006, the lecture series against right-wing extremism has been held annually at the University of Kassel since 2012 with changing topics. Last winter semester, the lecture focused on the topics of conspiracy ideologies and anti-Semitism in times of the coronavirus pandemic under the title "recht extrem? Wissen, Meinen, Glauben in der Krise", we would like to focus in the coming winter semester 2021/22 on the continued strengthening of right-wing structures in the field of political parties and social movements. In addition to the situation in Germany, we will also focus on developments in other countries.
On 06.12.21 Dr. Bartek Pytlas will give a lecture on the topic: Right-wing extremist parties in East Central Europe in transition: strategies, interactions, effects.
