Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of solar and systems engineering

Full-time employment is sought.

The position is initially limited until 30.4.2021 (§ 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Your tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of solar and plant technology
• Independent work on a research sub-area in the field of heating networks
• Collaboration in research projects on the topic of energy efficiency and integration of renewable energies in heating networks
• Support in the implementation of feasibility studies on the transformation of heating networks
• Independent communication with energy suppliers
• Supporting scientific and practical training as well as university self-administration

Your requirements:

• University degree with very good to good grades in engineering or physics, ideally with a focus on renewable energies or thermal energy technology
• Advanced knowledge in one or more of the areas of heating networks, solar thermal energy, heat pumps, combined heat and power, power plant and heating technology

An advantage:

• Experience in the technical and economic evaluation of various heat supply concepts
• Practical experience in the planning and implementation of corresponding measures
• Experience in working with simulation programs (e.g. Polysun, TRNSYS)
• Knowledge of energy management issues
• Proven knowledge of project management
• Thorough and independent way of working and high level of organizational skills
