Research assistant (m/f/d) EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of animal nutrition and animal health

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially for 3 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of animal nutrition and animal health.

As part of a joint project, the post holder will work on questions relating to the relationship between the feeding conditions of dairy cows on selected farms and energy balances at the individual animal level. The focus of the subproject is the assessment of the supply status of dairy cows with the aim of investigating the possibilities and limits of farm management to avoid imbalances.

Prerequisites:

University degree in agricultural sciences or veterinary medicine with very good to good grades.

Good IT and English skills as well as a driver's license (car) are required for the position.

Furthermore, the ability for interdisciplinary cooperation, high commitment and interest in a systemic research approach are required.
