Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of technical electronics

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.05.2022 in accordance with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG. The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of technical electronics
• The applicant will perform research tasks in the field of fabrication and characterization of microsystem-based micromirror arrays for daylight guiding.
• Within the scope of the project, the following tasks are to be carried out: Design, technological fabrication in a clean room, metrological characterization and comparison of experimental results with theoretical model calculations.

Requirements:

• Scientific university degree in nanostructure science, physics, mechatronics or electrical engineering completed with good to very good results. The required degree must be available by the date of recruitment at the latest.

• Comprehensive knowledge in the fields of nanoimprint lithography, optical lithography, electron beam lithography, plasma deposition, plasma etching, as well as various 3D characterizing imaging methods (atomic force microscope, scanning electron microscope, white light interferometer, ellipsometer, contact profilometer, contact angle measuring system) and computer-aided simulation technology are required for the successful completion of the research work.
• Practical work experience in a clean room laboratory.

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge and experience in the field of sacrificial layer technology.
• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high degree of organizational skills
