"One and double: literary collaborations" - Colloquium in honor of the 100th birthdays of Christine Brückner and Otto Heinrich Kühner

In 2021, Kassel celebrates the 100th birthday of the writer couple Christine Brückner and Otto Heinrich Kühner. Not only did they support each other in their own writing work through discussion, commentary and criticism, they also formed a literary tandem and wrote texts together. Eight lectures will shed light on such literary collaborations, on strategies and techniques, on their productive and restrictive aspects - from the High Middle Ages to Classicism and Romanticism, Naturalism and post-war literature to the present day. The conference is taking place as part of the 50th anniversary of the University of Kassel.
