Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the INCHER department

The position is initially limited for 2 years with the possibility of extension (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG; possibility of doctorate).

Your tasks:

In addition to the academic qualification with the aim of a doctorate at INCHER-Kassel, the position holder will take on project and qualification-related tasks in the Department for Development Planning at the University of Kassel, in particular within the framework of the allocation of funding from the State of Hesse to improve the quality of study conditions and teaching (QSL funds).

Your requirements:

• Completed university degree in social sciences,
• in-depth knowledge of social science governance, organizational and higher education research,
• good knowledge of quantitative and above all qualitative methods of empirical social research,
• good theoretical knowledge, especially of organizational sociology,
• in-depth empirical knowledge of academic processes and structures,
• strong communication skills, excellent coordination skills and knowledge of project management,
• excellent written communication skills,
• Ability to think independently and conceptually,

• confident use of Office applications.
