Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Childhood and Youth Law

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.12.2021 as part of the project "The prosecution of rape in Lower Saxony" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). An extension of the project duration is sought. The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned project. The focus is on conducting a standardized victim survey and an analysis of criminal case files

Requirements:

• University degree in social sciences, sociology, psychology or comparable subjects completed with at least good results or university degree in law (state examination) completed with at least satisfactory results.
• Proven interest in interdisciplinary issues and perspectives

Advantageous are:

• Previous knowledge of quantitative empirical methods
• Experience in working on research projects
• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high degree of organizational skills and flexibility
• Experience in dealing with sensitive research topics
