Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of hydrology and material balance

Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of hydrology and matter balance
• Collaboration in the organization of the department
• Independent work on a research sub-area in the field of experimental determination of the relationship between water quality and residence time of water in catchment areas
• Publication of research results in international peer-reviewed journals

Prerequisites:

• University degree in hydrology, geoecology, environmental engineering or similar courses of study with very good to good results
• Initial experience (thesis, publication, lectures) in tracer hydrology and water quality
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Intention to do a doctorate
