EXAMEN 2019 of the art academy

The graduates and master students of the Kunsthochschule Kassel invite you to their exhibition EXAMEN from December 12 to 15, 2019.

This year's exhibition in the documenta hall brings together the works of 45 graduates and master students of fine arts, visual communication and product design. The graduation works cover a broad conceptual and creative spectrum, ranging from painting to sculpture, film, innovative products and multimedia installations.

Traditionally, the graduates and master students conceive and organize their exhibition independently. This year, they will be supported by Paula Kommoss as curator. Kommoss is an art historian and curator. She works as artistic coordinator at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste-Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. Most recently, she curated the dance performance It's my house and I live here by choreographer Frances Chiaverini. In summer 2019, she also initiated the Taubenschlag project space with solo exhibitions by Julian Tromp, François Pisapia and Vera Palme. She was previously a curatorial assistant at the Fridericianum and the German Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.
