Vernissage: "How I not forget (and forget)" and "people, feelings, thoughts"

Kana Nishimori is studying fine arts at the Kunsthochschule Kassel in the class of Vallejos-de Bruijne and will be showing her works together with Ukrainian artist Julia Rozentsveig at Haus Berneburg from May 13.

In her first solo exhibition in Kassel, the Japanese artist, a graduate of Kyoto City University of Arts, will recreate her reality and everyday life with her hands, mainly through embroidery.

Ukrainian Julia Rozentsveig, a painter who only came to Kassel from Ukraine in April, is showing ink drawings that she painted shortly before her escape. These works are about the relationship between people, their feelings, thoughts and inner worlds, which create something new and different when they come into contact with each other.
