Internationalist caravan for global justice in Kassel

While representatives of the most economically and militarily powerful countries are preparing for their G7 summit in Bavaria at the end of June, an internationalist caravan for global justice and to mobilize against the summit will be taking place in several German cities from the beginning of June. The caravan will stop in Kassel on June 14.

The event in Kassel will take place on June 14 at 7 pm in the Schlachthof cultural center . Bettina Cruz Velasquez will speak on militarism and human rights in Mexico and Ina-Maria Shikongo on climate justice and energy colonialism in Namibia

The aim of the caravan with activists from regions such as Mexico, Namibia and Kurdistan is to make the voices of those who are particularly affected by the continuation of colonial conditions and global inequality heard and to offer resistance. It is organized by the Bundeskoordination Internationalismus (BUKO). In Kassel, it is supported by Rheinmetall entwaffnen, Kassel postkolonial and the Department of Development Policy and Postcolonial Studies at the University of Kassel.
