Family Welcome Day - introductory event for students with child(ren)

The "Family Welcome Day" is an introductory event for students with child(ren) from all faculties. On this day, we want to explain and show you the various offers for you and your family on the subject of reconciling family and studies. It will be about various advisory services as well as different family-related options (baby changing room, canteen facilities, etc.). Representatives of the Studierendenwerk Kassel, the Family Welcome Service of the University of Kassel and the hosts of the autonomous parent department will be present.

Children are welcome to come along! The event is tailored to this and childcare is also organized. During the campus tour, there will also be the opportunity to have a Mensa children's card ("MahlZeit, Kinder!") created - children up to the age of six can eat for free in the Mensa. Please bring your certificate of enrollment and your child's birth certificate with you.

If you would like to take part but are unable to stay for the entire period, this is not a problem.

Schedule:
10:00 a.m. Get to know each other
10:30 a.m. Presentation of the Studierendenwerk Kassel, Parents' Office and Family Welcome Service
11:30 a.m. Family-specific campus tour incl. small rally for children
12:30 p.m. Lunch in the canteen
