Tasks:

The Financial Accounting and Taxes group is responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements and tax returns of the University of Kassel and its commercial enterprises, the processing of tax law issues and ongoing financial accounting. The area of responsibility includes the processing and posting of vendor invoices and their tax assessment, as well as the processing of internal university transfers.

Requirements:

A completed commercial apprenticeship or training as an administrative employee as well as good knowledge of commercial accounting is required. The ability to work carefully, quickly and - even under deadline pressure - to a high standard, a high degree of service orientation and the ability to cooperate and work in a team are expected, as well as the willingness to participate in digitization processes and to adapt to changing work processes.

Advantageous are:

Professional experience in the area of responsibility described above as well as knowledge of the SAP-FI system.

The person to be hired must not have been employed by the employer "Land Hessen"; this does not apply to a vocational training relationship.
