Lecture event as part of the winter semester program 2022/23 of the Research Network for Social Law and Social Policy (FoSS).

The lecture will present results from the InDiVers project, which examines the procedures for determining special educational needs against the background of the concept of institutional discrimination and thus analyzes how an (also) pedagogical decision is processed within the framework of an administrative procedure and how 'other' pupils, namely pupils with special educational needs, are constructed in the process. First empirical results at an interface between pedagogical and administrative law-relevant actions of teachers, which often lead to a restriction of participation in education in individual cases under the guise of support, will be presented for discussion.
