FUSION WiSe 2023/24 | "The Kassel Model 1973 - 2023"

In the winter semester 2023/2024, the Department of Architecture - Urban Planning - Landscape Planning at the University of Kassel will continue its 50th anniversary lecture series entitled "The Kassel Model 1973 - 2023", highlighting innovations and pressing issues in architecture, urban planning and landscape planning.
A look back at the history of research and teaching is combined with current concepts of urban activism, redesigning public spaces, a moratorium on demolition, sustainable building and digitalization. Then as now, critical and technically sound concepts are needed to address the challenges facing society. The Kassel Model stands for this self-image.

18 October: Lecture by Dr. Sanda Meireis "The utopian content of small forms"

as part of the opening of the anniversary exhibition "10 x forschender Aktivismus. Lucius Burckhardt's teaching research projects 1973 - 1993"

The lecture will take place in person, will be recorded and will be available as a video on Panopto the following day.
