Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - Department of Technical Building Equipment

Part-time with 75% of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG).

Tasks:

The tasks include participation in teaching and research at the FG Technical Building Services. In teaching, this includes the development and implementation of courses as well as the supervision of student projects, student research projects, etc.

In research, the focus is on the research topics of the department, currently in particular energy-efficient systems engineering/ventilation. The dissertation topic should fit in with the research topics of the department.

Prerequisites:

• Completed scientific university degree (also accredited Master's degree at university/university of applied sciences) in mechanical engineering, energy/supply engineering, environmental engineering, renewable energies and energy efficiency or a comparable subject area.
• In-depth knowledge of technical building equipment, energy efficiency in the building sector and mechanical ventilation of buildings

Advantageous are:

• Experience in setting up and carrying out measurements, in building automation, in building and system simulation
• IT skills, including MS Office
• Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation, especially with architects
