Artistic or research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of industrial design

with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension by 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG; artistic or scientific further qualification).

Your tasks:

• Teaching services in the field of the subject area
• Further development of design theory in industrial design
• Development of your own qualification project

Your requirements:

• Completed artistic university studies or accredited university studies as a graduate designer or MA in design
• Professional experience through internships and project work in the field of product design and interior design
• Project work in the field of designing a shared economy
• Experience in the implementation and realization of products
• Own portfolio in this area
• Experience in the organization, planning and implementation of international exhibitions
• Ability to analyze design developments historically and critically
• Willingness to collaborate in teaching
• Experience in project management and the use of standard layout and design software
• English language skills

Advantageous:

• Additional training in interior design and practical training as a carpenter or in mechanical or metal construction

The submission (exposé) of your own artistic or scientific research topic in this field is expected.
