The secondment/partial secondment as a (senior) Studienrätin/(senior) Studienrat from the school service is initially for a probationary year and can be extended by up to 4 further years if the candidate proves his/her worth. In accordance with the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Staff at Universities in the State of Baden-Württemberg (Lehrverpflichtungsverordnung), the standard teaching obligation is 9 course hours for almost exclusive teaching activities and 7 course hours for predominantly teaching activities.
