(Ober-)Studienrätin/(Ober-)Studienrat im Hochschuldienst (A 13/A14 HBesG) - in the field of art education

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee, temporary for a maximum of 5 years by way of secondment.

Job profile

The scope of duties includes

• Participation in didactic teaching for students studying to become teachers of art,
• participation in coordinating and organizational tasks of the Department,
• participation in research and teaching projects.

Requirements profile
Prerequisites are:

• A degree in the subject of art (teaching degree for grammar schools), the second state examination and at least three years of school practice after the second state examination,
• Academic publications, particularly on art education topics,
• a doctorate and school experience in the subject of art for grammar schools are desirable,
• Experience in university teaching for the teaching profession.

The secondment/partial secondment as a (senior) Studienrätin/(senior) Studienrat from the school service is initially for a probationary year and can be extended by up to 4 further years if the candidate proves his/her worth. In accordance with the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Staff at Universities in the State of Baden-Württemberg (Lehrverpflichtungsverordnung), the standard teaching obligation is 9 course hours for almost exclusive teaching activities and 7 course hours for predominantly teaching activities.
