2 Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of sociology and economics of social services and institutions

Part-time with 65% of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The positions are initially limited until 31.03.2023 as part of the DFG project "The relevance of family for social law claims in international comparison: Between the granting of benefits and the demand for family solidarity" (§ 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific cooperation in the above-mentioned project including the systematic and international comparative analysis of welfare state resource allocation, the associated redistribution mechanisms and the explanation of international differences

Requirements:

• Above-average academic degree in sociology or a related discipline. The required Master's degree must be available by the date of recruitment at the latest.
• Proven in-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
  • International comparison of welfare states
  • Methods of social research
  • Institutional change and institutional theory
• Very good knowledge of English
