Frenzied reporters - A job in television

The job as a reporter is certainly anything but boring. Constantly on the lookout for topics, traveling a lot and in close contact with other people, always being quick and still telling good stories that captivate viewers. You learn the craft, but you also have to be able to approach others openly.

At the information event, you will learn a lot about the job of a reporter. What are the daily tasks? How resilient do you need to be? What skills do you need and how do you need to be personally so that you enjoy the job? And last but not least: What is the best way to enter the profession and what prospects are there?

The speaker Sonja Röbig currently works at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and has already filmed numerous reports. She completed her BA in German Studies with us in 2011 and then went on to complete a Master's degree in Literature and Media Practice in Duisburg. She will tell you about her day-to-day work, how she got started and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

The event will take place on November 21, 2019 from 16:00-18:00 (s.t.) in the Campus Center (Moritzstr. 18), Room 1112. The event is also open to interested students from other departments.
