Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of landscape architecture/design

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the department (preparation and implementation of courses, in particular Bachelor's/Master's student projects)
• Collaboration in the organization of the department
• Supervision of student assistants
• Participation in university committees
• Independent work on research projects
• Collaboration in the acquisition of third-party funding/research projects

Requirements

• University degree in landscape architecture or landscape planning (specializing in landscape architecture) with at least a good grade;
• very good design skills (to be demonstrated by own designs and/or realized projects)
• very good skills in the presentation and visualization of projects, especially in computer-aided representation (2D, 3D)
• Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation with the fields of architecture and urban planning (interdisciplinary courses, e.g. as part of the Master's specialization in urban planning)

Advantageous are

• Landscape architecture office experience
• relevant teaching experience at a university/college
• Thorough and independent way of working
• a high degree of organizational skills
