Skilled worker (m/f/d) media technology, EG 8 TV-H - in the electronics workshop HPS

Tasks:

• Maintenance and support for sophisticated media technology systems
• Installation, commissioning and support of media technology systems in lecture halls and seminar rooms at all locations of the University of Kassel
• Construction and wiring of media cabinets
• Programming of media control systems
• Creation of system documentation and instructions
• Collaboration in the execution of projects including planning, component selection, tendering and project acceptance
• Advising and cooperating with other university facilities on media technology/media didactics concepts and their technical implementation

Requirements:

• Completed training in the field of electronics
• Very good specialist knowledge in the areas of audio, video and control technology
• Very good knowledge of Crestron media technology (hardware and programming)
• Good network and IT knowledge
• Good knowledge of general electrical engineering/electronics
• Technical and manual skills
• Working on ladders and scaffolding as well as in installation shafts
• Creating circuit and wiring diagrams
• Good knowledge of English
• Class B driving license
