UKTDIALOGE - Round table for interested parties

In the climate crisis, we are dramatically experiencing the effects of an imbalance in the relationship between humans and nature. Based on this collective experience, UniKasselTransfer, the Scientists for Future Kassel and the Staatstheater Kassel are opening up a dialog between the university and society in which we would like to involve you.

As part of the Year of Science 2022 - In Demand! , science, art and society are to enter into a conversation in various formats about what our future could look like and what contribution we as scientists and the arts can make.

To this end, we are looking for scientists, interested parties and committed individuals who would like to participate. To kick things off on 25.01.2022, we will present the UKTDIALOGE project and the various opportunities to get involved in the form of a non-binding round table.

Temple of Alternative Histories

The Temple project is an interdisciplinary experiment in which visual art and theater come together with a broader public to co-create narratives in the space between fact and fiction. In 2022 (March-September), the Temple Project will bring together stage art (opera, dance, theater), contemporary sculptures and audio installations as well as scientific public discourse in a process-based work of art at the Staatstheater Kassel.

The artistic team of the temple project (Thorleifur Örn Arnarsson, director; Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir, visual artist; Cassandra Edlefsen Lasch, curator), 140 participants from the Staatstheater Kassel, the regional group of Scientists for Future Kassel (S4F), UniKasselTransfer and representatives of Kassel's civil society will meet in various formats and make a new, innovative contribution to the public, artistic and scientific debate on the status quo and conceivable paths for the future.

Round table: Participants and interested parties are cordially invited!

Together we will get an overview of the project in its current stage of development and collect thoughts and discussion points in small groups for three public citizen dialogs on the future of the relationship between humans and nature that will take place in March: Future of business, Future of coexistence, Future of technology.
