Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of production organization and factory planning

The position is initially limited until 31.08.2022 as part of the knowledge and technology transfer project on digitization "SME Knowledge Transfer Laboratory Digital Factory" in accordance with § 2 para. 2 WissZeitVG. The project is funded within the framework of the Operational Program for the Promotion of Investments in Growth and Employment in Hesse from funds of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2014-2020 (IWB-EFRE Program Hesse) and from funds of the State of Hesse.

Tasks:

• Independent scientific processing of the research and development tasks arising in the above-mentioned project:

• Determination of the degree of digitization of companies in the field of production and logistics planning
• Development and validation of planning and experimentation scenarios for SMEs
• Company-specific adaptation of the scenarios and implementation of industry workshops

• Guidance of student employees
• Reporting, publication of project results in scientific publications and representation of the results in relevant committees
• Supervision of project-related theses

Requirements:

• Completed scientific university degree in the field of computer science, industrial engineering or engineering sciences
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of methods in digital production and logistics planning, data collection, process modeling, discrete-event simulation and software development
