Research assistant (m/f/d), up to EG 13 TV-H - Department of Primary School Development and Integrative Subject Teaching

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of elementary school development and integrative subject teaching
• Independent work on a research sub-area in primary school pedagogy/didactics or development or in the didactics of subject teaching

Prerequisites:

• University degree in educational science, teaching degree (preferably primary school teaching state examination) or Master of Education (preferably specializing in elementary school) with at least good results. The required degree must be available by the recruitment date at the latest.

Advantageous are:

• 2nd state examination for the teaching profession at elementary school
• Subject or specialization in subject teaching
• an existing doctoral degree
• Experience in university teaching and in supervising students (e.g. mentoring)
• Teaching experience in elementary school
• Academic commitment and strong didactic and primary school teaching skills
• Ability to work independently, communication skills, flexibility and organizational skills
