Tasks:

The post holder is to provide academic services, particularly in the field of subject didactics of philosophy and the theory of education to the extent of 7 SWS teaching for the modules of the L3 Philosophy teacher training course (modules L10, L11). The tasks also include participation in the associated examinations and qualification procedures, student advising, curriculum development for the didactic parts of the degree program and participation in university self-administration. The focus of the tasks lies in the area of basic reflection on subject-didactic theories and educational philosophical positions on the one hand and the structured development and expansion of a profile on subject-didactic fields of application (for example in the area of philosophical anthropology or ethics) on the other.

 

Prerequisites:

An above-average academic degree in philosophy with a doctorate as well as in-depth knowledge of relevant philosophical fields of application (e.g. in the area of philosophical anthropology or ethics) from a systematic and historical perspective are expected. A teaching qualification for the school subject of philosophy, school teaching experience and in-depth knowledge of the theory and content of philosophical subject didactics and philosophy of education are also expected. Finally, many years of university teaching experience and experience in supervising students are expected.
