Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of agricultural and food marketing

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of agricultural and food marketing
• Independent work on a research sub-area in the research on consumer expectations of organic apples and processed organic foods

Requirements:

• University degree with good to very good grades in agricultural sciences (specializing in agricultural economics) or resource management (specializing in social research). The required degree must be available by the recruitment date at the latest.
• Knowledge and experience in the application of qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical social research and the corresponding software
• Ability to quickly analyze complex economic issues
• Ability to present facts to different target groups in writing and orally
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
• Experience in applied consumer research
• Knowledge of consumer expectations of organic apples and processed organic foods
• Project experience
