18th Mathematics Day for upper secondary school students

Faculty 10 and the Institute of Mathematics are once again hosting Mathematics Day on Friday, February 20.

In exciting lectures, you will learn a lot of things you didn't know about Mathematics and everything you always wanted to know about it. In the math lab, you can experiment with cryptography, modular origami and simulations, calculate with colors and try out which works of art can be created using equations. A highlight is the contribution by Dr. Andreas Eisenblätter (Managing Director of atesio GmbH), who will present the use of Mathematics in everyday business.

The events are primarily aimed at upper secondary school students and their teachers, but are open to all interested parties (registration required). Admission is free.
On the same day, the Math Researchers' Day will also take place with over one hundred primary school pupils invited.

The events will take place at the University of Kassel in Oberzwehren, Heinrich-Plett-Straße 40.(to the address on Google map)
The nearest streetcar stops are Korbacher Staße (lines 3 and 7) or Heinrich-Plett-Straße (lines 5 and 6).
