Move & Groove - revitalization of the sports fields at HoPla

The Move & Groove event by study well at the University of Kassel marks the start of the revitalization of the sports facilities at HoPla. The kick-off event starts on Tuesday, May 6 between 3 and 7 p.m. and offers a varied program of movement, music and art - all in the spirit of the joy of movement and social interaction.

Highlights in the program

On 6 May 2025, Move & Groove starts at 3 pm with the first program highlight, the opening by Chancellor Dr. Oliver Fromm.

Another highlight is the hands-on graffiti in cooperation with the FARBKASTEN team between 3 and 7 p.m., where everyone can become a street art star!

Other highlights include two volleyball workshops at 4 and 4:30 p.m., where you can get valuable tips from experienced coaches and play right along. The subsequent free play and school sports games ensure lots of fun and team spirit. There is also a speed shot facility where visitors can test their shooting speed. For fun to go, games ranging from XXL Jenga and "Mensch ärgere dich nicht" to Cornhole can be hired from "Rent-A-Game". You can also find out more about green sports and sustainable campus design.

At 18:00, "Final Steps" choreographies by sports students will be performed, rounded off by a performance by Frauke with Meaggy.

Relaxed beats and danceable rhythms together with refreshing drinks will create a feel-good atmosphere. From 17:00, the "Kitchen for All" invites you to a shared meal - delicious cold cuts and fresh bread will be served.
