Experimental Perspectives | Urban Gaps + Paper Planes

In the 'City and Country' experimental series, scientists work together with partners from the city administration and citizens to develop new concepts for the use of land in the city and region. In the lecture series, we want to learn from people who have already successfully contributed to the transformation.

Hanna Noller and Matthias Heskamp will talk about how experimental approaches are making our cities more liveable. Hanna Noller will show how Stadtlücken e.V. uses the Urban Experimental Field at Österreichischer Platz in Stuttgart to transform derelict sites into lively meeting places through creative interventions. Matthias Heskamp presents projects such as the "Radbahn Berlin", which combine sustainable mobility and the reclaiming of urban spaces.
