EXAMEN24: Queerfeminist approaches in contemporary exhibition practice

In conversation with Philipp Lange, Constantin Hartenstein and Sylvia Sadzinski provide insights into their work on queerfeminist topics and their curatorial-theoretical and artistic research. Using selected project examples - also from their joint work - the talk will enable a deeper reflection on curatorial ideas that also form the basis of EXAMEN24.

Constantin Hartenstein is an artist who lives and works in Berlin. He studied at the UdK Berlin and the HBK Braunschweig. He has been an Artistic Associate and member of the Academic Senate of the UdK Berlin since 2019.

Sylvia Sadzinski works at the intersection of contemporary art, curatorial practice and queerfeminist theory. Since 2019, she has been artistic co-director of the feminist exhibition space alpha nova & galerie futura in Berlin, which has existed since 1986. She has been teaching at art academies and universities since 2015, currently at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Node Center for Curatorial Studies. At the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna she is doing her doctorate on queer infrastructures of the curatorial.
