The climate change poses considerable challenges for the water supply in Germany. With decreasing water availability and raw water quality, new solutions must be found to ensure future supplies. At the same time, the energy transition is gaining momentum, which is currently leading to severe power grid bottlenecks. 
What can the water supply of the future look like and how can electricity from renewable energies be used? This is being researched in the "Flexilienz" project.

In the coffee talks , scientists from the University of Kassel explain their research - briefly and compactly in 15 minutes. For all those who want to start the evening with an interesting input on current topics - plus a sweet snack and a hot drink free of charge.
