25,103 students at the University of Kassel

The number of international students is higher than ever before: 3,442 enrollees have a foreign passport, which corresponds to about 13.7 percent. As in previous years, Turks form the largest group among foreigners, closely followed by people of Chinese nationality and Syrians. The number of so-called Bildungsausländer, who acquired their higher education qualifications abroad, is 2,481.
