Technical employee (EG 11 TV-H) - EVS department

The position is initially limited until 06.02.2020 to work on the project "Maritime Hybrid Drives"(§ 14 para. 1 sentence 2 no. 1 TzBfG).

Tasks:

The position holder is to design innovative hybrid propulsion systems for small passenger ships within the framework of a research and demonstration project with the aim of achieving the lowest possible emissions during operation, and to organize and supervise their implementation. Under the guidance of the professor, the activity goes well beyond the execution of orders, but includes the preparation of system decisions and the design of subsystems.

Prerequisites:

• University degree (Bachelor, Diploma I) in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of power engineering for the supply of technical systems
• Experience in the design of electrical systems
• Basic experience in the design of and handling of small motor-driven inland vessels
• Simulation experience in MatLab/Simulink
• Ability to interpret, prepare and present technically demanding presentation and transmission forms
• Confident use of software to create technical documentation
• Creativity
• Goal-oriented working style

Advantages include:
