Tasks:

Services in research and teaching (2 SWS) in the field of International Agricultural Policy and Environmental Governance and in the further development of the content of the same field, spec. to apply for third-party funding in the field of institution-oriented climate change adaptation research in the Ethiopian agricultural sector with Ethiopian partners or in the field of institution-oriented research on utilization options for treated wastewater in Tunisian agriculture with Tunisian partners.

 

Prerequisites:

Completed academic university studies in agricultural sciences, economics, political science (good knowledge of agricultural, environmental or resource economics). Relevant PhD. Good knowledge of the agricultural sector and rural development in Ethiopia or of the use options for treated wastewater in Tunisian agriculture, knowledge of institutional analysis and social-ecological systems research. Teaching experience, fluent in English, fluent in Amharic or fluent in French and Arabic, experience in acquiring external funding.
