Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of life situations and aging

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of life situations and ageing, in particular own research in the field of social science research on ageing with the aim of a doctorate,
• Collaboration in the research projects of the chair as well as independent teaching to the extent of 2 SWS per semester,
• Support of academic self-administration.

Prerequisites:

• Academic university degree in social work, social or educational sciences completed with at least good grades.
• Proven very good theoretical knowledge and knowledge of qualitative and/or qualitative social research

Advantageous are:

• Study or work focus in the context of social work and/or social gerontology,
• Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary theoretical discussions,
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Experience with the acquisition/processing of externally funded research
• Language skills, especially those that play a role in the context of current migration, e.g. languages of the Near and Middle East
