Research Associate (EG 13 TV-H), Post-Doc - in the Department of Organic Agricultural Sciences - Dean's Office

Tasks:

• Collaboration in the project Sustainable Agriculture and Food System -SAFS- for the formation of a structured PhD program at the Agricultural University in Tbilisi, Georgia.
• Cooperation with various professorships in Tbilisi (Georgia) and Witzenhausen (Germany) to supervise 11 PhD students
• Cooperation with the international advisory board
• Report writing

Requirements:

• Completed academic university studies in social science, politics, and completed PhD in the field of food quality/water management.
• Fluency in English and mobility are required (PFW driver's license).

Advantageous are:

• previous knowledge in a mixed methodological approach (linking social and natural sciences on the topic of agriculture and food)
• a thorough and independent way of working
• a high degree of organizational skills also in multinational contexts
• experience in dealing with the Caucasian culture, especially Georgia
• experience in the field of scientific publication in journals (web of science)
