Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the department INCHER

The position is initially limited for 2 years with the possibility of extension (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG; PhD possibility).

Your tasks:

In addition to academic qualification with the aim of obtaining a doctorate at INCHER-Kassel, the position holder will undertake project and qualification-related tasks in the Department of Development Planning at the University of Kassel, particularly in the context of the allocation of funding from the State of Hesse to improve the quality of study conditions and teaching (QSL funds).

Your requirements:

• Completed university studies in the social sciences,
• in-depth knowledge of social science governance, organization and higher education research,
• good knowledge of quantitative and especially qualitative methods of empirical social research,
• good theoretical knowledge, especially of organizational sociology,
• in-depth empirical knowledge of academic processes and structures,
• strong communication skills, strong coordination skills and knowledge of project management,
• excellent written expression skills,
• ability to think conceptually on one's own,

• confident handling of office applications.
