Teacher as pedagogical assistant (A 13/A14 HBesG) - subject area school pedagogy with a focus on grammar school upper level

Job Profile:

Responsibilities include assisting in the organization, implementation, and development of School Practicum I (block practicum).

Requirement Profile:

First and second state examinations for the teaching profession at grammar schools, if possible with German as a subject, and at least three years of school practice after the second state examination. The applicant should have an interest in theory-based instructional development in the Gymnasiale Oberstufe, including the use of digital media, as well as a willingness to design and implement teaching-learning laboratory scenarios with student teachers and high school students in the Gymnasiale Oberstufe research center.

The maximum allowable secondment period is five years for secondments with a full position. In the case of partial secondments totaling five years, an extension of a maximum of three years as a partial secondment is possible in justified exceptional cases.

According to the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Personnel at the Universities of the Land (Teaching Obligations Ordinance), the standard teaching obligation is 18 lecture hours for almost exclusive teaching activities and 14 lecture hours for predominant teaching activities.
