Technical employee (EG 10 TV-H) - in the field of communications technology

Part-time with half of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 2 years according to § 14 Abs. 1 S. 2 Nr. 1 TzBfG subject to third party funding approval.

Tasks:

• Context and activity recognition using mobile and stationary sensors
• Application and design of machine learning and data mining algorithms
• Research and development in the area of mobile internet and pervasive computing.

Prerequisites:

• University degree in computer science completed with at least good grades.

Advantageous are:

• previous knowledge of sensor data analysis, machine learning methods, client-server communication
• very good knowledge of the programming languages Java, Kotlin, Go, Python as well as NodeJS
• experience in the area of context awareness and mobile computing as well as professional experience as a software developer are desirable
• a very thorough and independent way of working
• a high degree of organizational skills
